My word for 2021.

I saw somewhere instead of making New Years  resolutions, it would be beneficial to choose a word for the year and make that your focus.

I chose grace. 

Grace is defined as unmerited favor, courteous goodwill, simple elegance, and polite behavior. 

Live by grace. Work by grace. Parent by grace.  Love by grace. 

Grace that allows me to make mistakes while keeping the word failure from being in the forefront of my mind.

Grace that allows me to simply release the worldly mindset that I sometimes revert back to without shame or guilt.

Grace that allows me to work towards loving others like Jesus did.

Grace that allows me to strive for excellence in my goals while remaining humble and grounded.

Grace that allows me to be an imperfect parent while still loving my girls hard.

Grace that allows me to be a spouse who doesn’t always get it right, but tries my best to show love every single day.

My word is grace.
