Thirty Five & Feeling Alive

You beautiful soul you. It's your birthday today. 35. Hard to believe we met when you were 18. What kids we were back then and what growing up we have done together.

Time has certainly been your friend, and I still get weak in the knees when you smile at me with those handsome green eyes of yours 💓

Matthew, celebrating you comes easy. You make your girls laugh, you make them smile, and you make them feel loved. Not an easy feat in this house of hormones you live in. It's bound to get worse before it gets better, but you, I know you; you will take it in stride and throw in a dash of humor just to keep us all sane.

One of the things I love most about you. You make me laugh. You make me laugh hard, even in the middle of my tears. That's how I know you have a good heart. A heart that's purpose is to do everything you can to bring joy through laughter into the lives around you. I'm forever indebted to you for all the goodness and joy you've brought into my life.

Your titles extend far beyond just the word Dad and husband.  Coach, boo-boo fixer, comedian, lullaby singer, story-teller, workout partner, bedtime snuggler, and my personal favorite, the shower uncloggerer. Our household would not be complete without you being the hero that always comes and saves Barbie, or the villain who cracks funny jokes that makes the other dolls laugh. Your presence is always felt and appreciated on the most regular of days.

I pray this year will be your best one yet. One that blesses you just like you've blessed others around you without even knowing it. God's plans for you are great and I look forward to watching them continue to unfold.

Happy Birthday sugar pie, honey, darling, and dear 💗

With love,
Tori
