Always Keep Pursuing
I’m not sure I can explain what it actually means to have you as my husband.
Our days are filled, our schedules are often opposite, and there is little time for me and you. But when we do get that time, it’s my favorite time in the world. Talking, laughing, smiling. Time to just be.
It’s been 17 years since our first date. You took a chance on that girl in weightlifting class. The one who shot you a glare because you tried to flirt. Today as I look back on our years together I’m thankful for your stubbornness; it made you pursue and not give up all those years ago.
It’s been anything other than a smooth ride. Its been bumpy, curvy, hilly, filled with obstructions all throughout our road. It’s in those times though that love can grow or love can wither away. I believe I can say ours has grown; we’ve learned what it means to sacrifice, to forgive, and to serve.
We still have a lot to learn but it’s been a beautiful ride so far and I’m excited to see what God has in store for our family in the future.
Love you Matthew.
Happy Anniversary š
Before the smartphone...
With love,
Tori
